The second in a two-part G+ Hangout series* leading up to the inaugural Tamale Economic Summit (TES 2014)** will focus on the role of Northern natives in development, while exploring migration and investment trends and flows and the influence of Ghana’s North-South divide on opportunities and solutions. Linked to the TES 2014 agenda for transformation in Northern Ghana, a special focus will be on agribusiness, entrepreneurship and technology.

TES’14 Pre-Event: The Northern Arena 

Accra Green Market, Sept. 6

The Accra Green Market which will be hosting about fifteen vendors and exhibitors, including what we’ve dubbed, “The Northern Arena”. This part of the event will be giving the attendants a foretaste of the Northern culture through the sale of clothing, drinks, music and cosmetics originating from the northern regions of Ghana. A five minute documentary about the northern regions will also be shown at the booth.
